Growth Mindset

The Power of “Yet”

No matter the grade level or subject being taught, Growth Mindset is truly the most valuable skill a learner can display. Once we get our brains to focus on growth and harnessing what we have learned from our mistakes (trial & error), it becomes easier to say “I don’t know, YET,” when faced with an uncomortable task.

Growth Mindset is just one of the social emotional skills we will learn and practice in the Emotional Literacy classroom. Check out the video, visuals, and links below to understand more about what Growth Mindset is and how it can be used to foster resilience and improve success for children and adults. What type of mindset do you have?
